6 times to Jamaica, and plan on returning for many more!!!

I have been to Jamaica 6 times, I know that does not beat many people, however, I got married at one of the resorts there, and met a wonderful local there that stood up in my wedding as a witness 10 years ago, and we have been friends ever since! She is a wonderful person! Which not only because of the people there, which are so friendly, and respectful, that keeps me coming back, its the beauty of the island, and the resorts.

I have taken MANY of the tours, and have learned so much of the history of Jamaica. Each time I come back, they tell me I am now a "Ja-merican"! Reading this wonderful site, I almost feel as though it is my 2nd home, there isn't actually too much I didn't already know, but its nice to look back and reminice.

The Falls are breathtaking! Its a tour that everyone should experience, even if they pay only 1 visit to Jamaica! I have gone off the resort to the local jerk centers, and such, again, such wonderful people, I know they don't recommend leaving the resorts, but I was with another local, (my Jamaican friend), so I felt comfortable enough, and was treated so kindly. I have been to St. Catherine's to one of her relatives homes up in the hills, so interesting, from the states, and again, very welcoming!

Been to ocho rios, negril, I usually stay at Breezes in St Ann's Bay, been to Hedo.....(on a guest pass), took the the swimming with the horses tour, white water rafting, went to Bob Marley's birth place...that is another tour I recommend! of course the shopping tours, just to name a few. The food, and the culinary arts on the resorts are extrordinary!

I recommend Jamaica to all my friends considering a vacation (Holiday)......I will be back soon! I have tried the Bahamas, and was not impressed, and was sorry I wasted my money and time, when I could have returned to Jamaica, I will not make that mistake again......this site is amazing! thanks for sharing it! everything is Irie!!!!!
